In his capacity as Minister for Education, Heng Swee Keat rolled out "Every School a Good School":

"At the AsiaEducationExpo 2013, Jurong West Secondary vice-principal Pushparani Nadarajah remarked, to applause: 'How many of our leaders and top officers who say that every school is a good school put their children in ordinary schools near their home? (Only) until they actually do so are parents going to buy (it).'
In response to Ms Nadarajah's remark, a 37-year-old mother agreed and remarked, 'Look at the ministers, most of them are from good schools, like SJI and Hwa Chong.'"
